In February 2024, HE Space Operations GmbH merged with CS Group - Germany GmbH, with retroactive effect from 1 January 2024, following the 100% takeover of shares by CS Group Germany GmbH.

The merger brought together two entities that previously specialised in different areas of the space industry. By joining forces, the new entity will be capable of successfully managing the entire life cycle of space programs and generating more career opportunities.

François-Xavier Laffont (CS Group Deputy Head of the Space Business Unit & Managing Director CS Group – Germany GmbH) and Sylvain D’Hoine (CS Group Executive Vice President in charge of the Space Business Unit) represent the company.

As part of the merger through universal succession, existing business relationships with the former HE Space Operations GmbH will automatically transfer to CS Group - Germany GmbH. CS Group – Germany GmbH will maintain all current contractual relationships with HE Space Operations GmbH’s customers and suppliers without any changes.

HE Space Operations BV in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, and HE Space Operations Ltd. in Harwell, United Kingdom, will continue to operate independently as part of the corporate structure of the CS Group. The HE Space Operations office in Toulouse, France has already been integrated into the CS Group office in Toulouse, France.

Further adjustments in connection with the merger, such as co-operations, projects, marketing, and communication, will be implemented step by step.
