Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of our navigation deprtment, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Be responsible for developing the technical solution for the following topics: low-level mathematical services, GNSS measurement processing, verification of output data from the EGNOS prediction chain, verification of messages from the EGNOS prediction chain, identification and triggering of barriers, development of input and output data sets for the chain;
- You have functional and technical authority over the project team dedicated to navigation activities;
- You will be responsible for the technical follow-up of the product during all phases of the project: specifications, design, development, integration and validation (validation is a shared responsibility with the IVQ manager);
- You will ensure that the developments carried out meet the thematic requirements. For this reason, you will be the preferred interface, both internally and with our customer, for technical activities.
Skills & Experience
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Bachelor in Aerospace engineering or a relevant discipline;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in software development in the navigation field;
- Mastery of the following topics: navigation, GNSS systems, SBAS systems, precise positioning;
- Principles of functional validation of space mechanics software;
- Knowledge of real-time processing and aeronautical standards would be a plus;
- Gathering and analyzing customer requirements;
- Technical team coordination: task assignment and progress monitoring, technical action tracking;
- Reporting to the Project Manager;
- Coding, Development, Testing;
- Integration, Verification, Validation;
- Development in C language;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French is an advantage.
