Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of the Airbus Team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Support the Project Product Assurance Manager (PA)
- Responsible for M&P topics related to building techniques electronic assemblies through to customer and supplier reviews, such as: Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Equipment Qualification Status Review (EQSR) or Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR);
- Responsible for Materials and Process Control Board (MPCB) regarding the construction of electronic assemblies from suppliers;
- Responsible for M&P assessment and support in the delivery of PA documents (RFA, RFD, RFW, NCRs) according to ECSS standards;
- Carrying out MIPs (Mandatory Inspection Points) of assembled circuit boards. An ESA CAT2;
- Inspector certificate would be an advantage - active interface with PCB and EEE experts as well as others M&P disciplines and experts;
- Validation of qualification plans & evaluation of qualification reports/results;
- Validation of drawings regarding M&P topics and the compilation;
Manufacturing support:
- Support with questions about repairs/assembly techniques for assembled circuit boards or special ones;
- Configurations, verifying compliance with applicable ECSS/NASA standards;
- Assist during the EM/EQM phase of a project in implementing modifications in the field of construction; technology;
- Interface to PA and customers;
Skills & Experience
- You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Master in engineering;
- Experience in validation of materials and implementation and Control of processes;
- Sound knowledge of the construction technology (soldering process) of electronics Assemblies;
- In-depth knowledge of ECSS and/or IPC standards;
- Knowledge of quality certification systems such as EN 9001 and EN9100 would be advantageous;
- Operator/inspector certificate according to ECSS-Q-ST-70-08/38 or 70-61 would be from Advantage;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German language is required.
This is a fixed-term role of 6 months, located in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
