Job Description
- Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures;
- Identify project budget and schedule;
- Monitor, coordinate and control projects;
- Payment transactions (supplier payments and payments for employee expenses);
- accounts receivable (invoicing the customer and tracking of incoming payments);
- Control and reconciliation of general ledger and subledger accounts;
- Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS);
- Optimization of internal financial processes and the reporting and controlling system;
- Carrying out financial postings and financial controls for turnover and costs;
- Support in the forecasting and budget process;
- Communication and collaboration with internal and external partners in all accounting matters;
- Assistance in the preparation and submission of local tax audits and tax returns.
Qualifications
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting in an international environment;
- You have previously completed a degree in economics with a focus on finance and accounting or a comparable qualification;
- Knowledge of local German GAAP and tax knowledge
- You are familiar with working with Excel and accounting systems;
- You enjoy working in a team and have no problems communicating in English in a dynamic and international environment;
- This position requires a high degree of responsibility, reliability and attention to detail;
- Your way of working is characterized by a hands-on mentality, a structured working style and high quality standards.
