Key Tasks and Responsibilities              

As part of the our back-office project support, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Bug fixing: Anomaly investigation and design of resolutions;
• Integration, validation and verification activities;
• Software development;
• Studies and prototyping of concepts;
• On-site support for critical operation phases;

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• At least four years in software development or maintenance in medium size projects. You shall have at least a BSc. in Computer Science Engineer, or equivalent.
• Mandatory skills:
• Excellent Java 4 years+ knowledge;
• Good understanding of OSGi specifications;
• Knowledge of the following technology stack:
• Apache Karaf
• Apache Zookeeper
• Junit/Mockito
• Apache Aries Blueprint
• PaxExam
• Maven
• Good knowledge of the space packets and PUS standards ECSS and CCSDS
• Git
• Linux OS (Bash scripting)
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.

The following experience would be advantageous:

• Knowledge of Eclipse RCP framework
• Apache ActiveMQ
• Apache Kafka
• Groovy
• Docker
