Software Engineer

HE Space has joined forces with CS Group to lead the engineering and digital space market in Europe and to provide highly skilled consulting.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

As part of the EUMETSAT (European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites), you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Developing or maintaining complex SW systems working over networks (client/server, multi-process and multi-threaded).
  • Building (cmake) and debugging (gdb a.o.) code.
  • Package management (RPM).

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Demonstrated working experience on modern C++ under LINUX.
  • Working experience in an environment applying change management and QA processes is essential.
  • Git and gitlab are essential.
  • FORTRAN is nice to have.
  • Database and DOORS are nice to have.
  • Python is also an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
