Job description

As a Financial Management Assistant, you will provide essential support to operational staff, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, budget management, and administrative processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting operational staff with reporting and financial data analysis.
  • Managing projected expense budgets.
  • Preparing monthly activity statements for employees (internal and external) and ensuring consistency.
  • Verifying and maintaining control over purchase receipts.
  • Reviewing and calculating employee expense reports using the Concur tool.
  • Handling customer billings.
  • Creating new sales orders.
  • Setting up and managing projects and sub-projects, including initial budget planning and updates.
  • Generating Sales/Margin production files while ensuring cost consistency per project.
  • Preparing of production meetings.
  • Monitoring project progress through analysis, reporting, and control.

Qualifications

  • Strong process orientation and ability to perform consistently following best practices.
  • Dynamic and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) to collaborate effectively with project managers, Accounting, HR, and Payroll teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Sopra Management tools (such as CompteV4) would be an advantage.

The position is to be filled in Darmstadt or Bremen.
